2007 LOGANVILLE RED DEVIL FOOTBALL
INFORMATION & REGULATIONS
|
|
Welcome to another exciting season with Loganville Youth Football Association. Please read this information carefully, some things have changed, and keep it handy so that you can refer back—it has important dates and information to answer your some of your questions.
|
|
| PARENTAL ASSISTANCE: At some point during the season, you will be asked to help out. There are plenty of ways to help and everyone is expected to volunteer in some form. Ways of assistance are: working at the admission gate for the home games, maintenance on our fields, working chain crew on the field for your child’s game, announcing your child’s game, or filming the game for the coach. Each Parent is expected to take a turn volunteering in some capacity. Rest assured that all involved will appreciate your time and effort including your child, coach and team mom. For more information, ask your team mom…she will be glad to tell you. |
|
COMMUNICATION, CALLING POST/EMAILS: So often we have children move, divorced parents, other issues happen and we do not get updated information. Please make sure that we have a good number and/or e-mail address so that we can provide important information to all parents for those "just in case" moments. The Association will use the calling post or place information on the website (www.loganvilleyouthfootball.net) to notify you of upcoming dates, changes in practices or games, or any other pertinent information that your coach, team mom or LYFA wants to inform you about. |
| TEAM SPLITS: According to the rules of the Gwinnett Football League (GLF), of which Loganville is a member association we have 3 registrations for football and no late players will be registered unless a team has to split. Splitting rules are as follows: |
Age Groups |
Maximum |
6 year olds |
32 players * |
7 year olds |
32 players * |
8 year olds |
32 players * |
9 year olds |
32 players * |
10 year olds |
32 players * |
11 year olds |
36 players * |
12 year olds |

|
| Teams may split at a lower number, however, if a team registers the above numbers or more, that age group will have a mandatory split into 2 teams. There will be tryouts and the boys will be drafted to a team. If child misses tryouts, then their name will be drawn out of a hat and assigned to a team. If a football team splits, then cheerleading teams also split accordingly. |
| Thank you for your interest in the Loganville Red Devils Football Program. LYFA is a non-profit organization. All monies collected or made go to the benefit of your children to make their experience a learning and memorable one. |
